New Exhibition

The Gallery @ The Registry Theatre

I’m thrilled to announce my new glass art exhibition at The Registry Theatre and Gallery. This exhibition offers a retrospective of my work, exploring the evolving relationship between glass, colour, pattern, and light.

The exhibition runs from March 8 to May 2, 2026, held within the beautiful Art Deco setting of Kitchener’s historic Registry Theatre.

Please join me for the Opening Reception on Sunday, April 19th, from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm. We’ll have light refreshments, and everyone is welcome!

The gallery is open during scheduled events or by appointment. To visit outside of show times, please contact curator Marian Boyer at gallery@registrytheatre.com.

My new body of glass art emerged through the Professional Mentorship for Established Artists at The Canadian Clay & Glass Gallery. Led by Senior Curator Peter Flannery, our group of six artists deepened our creative practices. At the end of our collective persistence, PRAXIS is our culminating exhibit.

My glass is inspired by my parents' courtship letters from the early 50s. Exchanged between Ron, a gas driller, and Isabelle, a tobacco farmer's daughter, they capture a warm and tender love story. Each glass piece is a contemplation on how Ron and Isabelle brought to life their ideals of love and family. I like to picture the letters as delicate supports that strengthened their eventual lives together.

Please visit The Clay & Glass Gallery, admission is always free. Please also join us for our Closing Reception on Thursday, May 28, from 6-8 pm.

PRAXIS is presented at The Clay & Glass Gallery in partnership with FUSION: The Ontario Clay and Glass Association.

Curated by Dr. Loren Lerner and her team, this publication thoughtfully explores artists’ materials, techniques, processes, inspirations and creative visions.
